NEW DELHI: BJP national president Nitin Nabin on Saturday accused the INDIA bloc led by Rahul Gandhi and associates of Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal of attempting to destabilise the country, alleging that they were pursuing their political agendas at the behest of foreign forces.Addressing a press conference in Delhi, Nabin described the situation as “highly dangerous and serious” and alleged that two groups were competing to create instability in the country.“Who is doing this? Two anarchic groups: one led by Rahul Gandhi of the ‘INDI Alliance’, and the other led by Arvind Kejriwal’s associates, CJP,” he said.Nabin claimed that the groups had been rejected by the public and accused them of attempting to undermine national stability instead of accepting the people’s verdict.“These are people that the public has rejected… instead of accepting that verdict or learning from it, you have hatched a plot to destabilize the country,” he said. The BJP president further alleged that the groups were acting at the behest of foreign forces. However, he did not identify the alleged foreign actors or provide evidence supporting the charge in the statement provided.Nabin also linked his allegations to India’s development trajectory, saying the country was continuing to progress despite persistent global crises.“You cannot digest India’s growth, progress, and advancement. You cannot bear to see India moving forward as a self-reliant and empowered nation,” he said, adding that Indian democracy was strong enough to thwart attempts to destabilise the country.

Separately, Bihar minister Ram Kripal Yadav accused CJP of attempting to mislead students and create unrest for political gains. He described the organisation as unregistered and questioned its political credentials.“CJP is an unregistered organisation. It is merely a group of such people who, under the leadership of a few politicians, are trying to misguide children just to establish themselves,” Yadav said in Patna. He alleged that the group was being used by opposition parties to advance their political interests.“They are doing this solely to glorify their leadership and establish their party which, being unregistered, cannot even be called a political party, as it lacks recognition,” he said.Yadav further alleged that the opposition was using CJP as a front to target the government, adding that its members were not acting in the national interest.
