Several parts of India continue to face intense heatwave conditions as temperatures remain dangerously high across northern, western, and central regions of the country. Cities in Rajasthan, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, and parts of Maharashtra recorded extreme daytime temperatures, with some areas crossing 44°C.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued heatwave alerts in multiple states and advised people to avoid unnecessary outdoor activities during peak afternoon hours. Authorities warned that prolonged exposure to extreme heat could lead to dehydration, heatstroke, and other health-related complications.

Major cities witnessed reduced daytime movement as people struggled with scorching temperatures and hot winds. Increased electricity demand due to heavy air-conditioner and cooler usage has also placed pressure on power supply systems in several regions.

Hospitals and health departments have urged citizens to stay hydrated, wear light clothing, and avoid direct sunlight whenever possible. Schools in some areas have adjusted timings or announced precautionary measures to protect students from severe weather conditions.

Weather experts stated that dry winds, delayed rainfall activity, and changing climate patterns are contributing to the unusually harsh summer conditions this year. However, some regions may experience temporary relief in the coming days due to light rain and thunderstorms.

The continuing heatwave has also impacted agriculture, water supply, transportation, and daily life, making it one of the most closely monitored weather developments across the country.
