With Rahul running a campaign against the government over SIR after targeting it over paper leaks, BJP fielded Rajeev Chandrasekar to flay him.

NEW DELHI: With the Karnataka government moving the Supreme Court against the high court’s order for a court-monitored probe by SIT into tainted recruitment tests by KPSC, BJP said this exposed Rahul Gandhi’s double standards, as Congress has used similar issues to campaign against it in other states but is opposing a thorough investigation where his party is in office.Karnataka government argued before the Supreme Court that the high court’s decision “amounted to judicial overreach against government leadership”, BJP’s Sambit Patra said, adding that it meant overreach against CM D K Shivakumar.As the probe reached KPSC chairman S Sahukar, who has been suspended, the issue of the top leadership came up, he alleged, asking which ministers were involved.
