Lauren Sanchez, wife of Amazon founder Jeff Bezos has reportedly adopted Amazon-style work habits in her role at Bezos Earth Fund. According to a report by New York Times, Sanchez has adopted certain corporate practices often associated with Bezos, including a preference for structured, written communication before meetings. One such practice involves asking teams to prepare detailed memos in advance, a method widely used at Amazon. “Mrs. Sánchez Bezos has, in turn, adopted some Jeff-isms, like Amazon corporate rituals — such as requesting memos no more than six-pages long ahead of meetings at the Bezos Earth Fund, where she is the vice chair” the report said.

The Earth Fund is a philanthropic commitment by Jeff Bezos. It was established in 2020 with a commitment of $10 billion from Bezos to be disbursed as grants to address climate and nature within the current decade.
