Skye Air Mobility on Wednesday demonstrated an end-to-end autonomous commerce delivery system at the India AI Impact Summit, in partnership with Arrive AI and Ottonomy.
According to PTI, the integrated solution combines Skye Air’s aerial drones with smart infrastructure and ground robotics to enable doorstep delivery without human intervention. The system is designed to manage the entire logistics chain from warehouse dispatch to final customer handover through AI-enabled coordination between air and ground assets.
Skye Air said it has completed 3.6 million deliveries over the past two years, highlighting the operational scale and maturity of its drone delivery network in live urban environments.
Haryana-based company also claimed that its electric drone network has helped save over 1,000 tonnes of CO2 emissions compared with conventional road-based courier vehicles.
“Our drones are engineered specifically for urban logistics, with a payload capacity of up to 10 kg,” said Ankit Kumar, Founder and CEO, Skye Air Mobility. “This makes them suitable for a wide range of commerce applications, including retail, groceries, medical supplies and pharmaceuticals.”
The demonstration comes at a time when India is witnessing increasing interest in AI-led logistics and last-mile delivery innovations, particularly in dense urban clusters where congestion and emissions remain key challenges.
Skye Air said the partnership aims to accelerate the adoption of autonomous commerce infrastructure in India by integrating aerial mobility with intelligent ground systems and digital command platforms.
