Automotive deeptech startup Six Sense Mobility has raised ₹44 crore in a pre-Series A round led by ace investor Ashish Kacholia, with participation from Piper Serica Angel Fund.

Founded in 2022 and incubated at IIT Delhi, Six Sense Mobility builds intelligent electronic systems and connected vehicle solutions for automotive original equipment manufacturers (OEMs).

The company delivers end-to-end capabilities across hardware, firmware and software, along with in-house OEM-grade manufacturing.

It counts the likes of Sonalika Tractors and Volvo Eicher Commercial Vehicles among its customers and said it has deployed 25,000 to 30,000 devices across India and Europe.

Six Sense Mobility claims to have an order book exceeding ₹160 crore.

“By indigenising critical automotive technologies, we aim to reduce India’s reliance on imports while positioning Six Sense Mobility as a credible, globally competitive alternative to established auto component suppliers,” said co-founder and CEO Sumit Roy.

The fresh capital will be used to expand manufacturing, including setting up a new electronics manufacturing plant in Noida with an initial capacity of over one million units annually. The company will also double down on research and development, with a focus on product quality, testing and compliance for automotive OEMs.

“Automotive electronics and software will define the next era of vehicle innovation. Six Sense Mobility’s execution speed, vertically integrated platform and production-ready capabilities give them a strong edge in building enduring OEM partnerships,” said Ashish Kacholia.
