The startup aims to build a watch brand with a focus on in-house engineering, manufacturing and global distribution.Analog watch company Rotoris has raised $3 million in a seed funding round with participation from Nikhil Kamath, Vivek Anand Oberoi, Venture Catalysts, 100 Unicorns and Tanmay Bhat, among others.
Other participants in the round include Varun Alagh of Mamaearth, Gaurav Khatri of Noise, Akash Gupta of Zypp and Arjun Vaidya.
Founded by Aakash Anand, founder of Bella Vita Organic, along with Prerna Gupta, the startup aims to build a watch brand with a focus on in-house engineering, manufacturing and global distribution.
The fresh capital will be allocated to deepen manufacturing and assembly capabilities, upgrade engineering processes, strengthen its supply chain, build inventory and set up a flagship store in New Delhi.
It will also invest in senior talent across product, design and brand functions as part of its global expansion plans.
“I’ve collected watches for years, but Rotoris surprised me. It carries the soul of Indian ambition with the finesse of global engineering. That combination is rare. Rotoris is proof that India can build luxury, not just import it,” said Vivek Anand Oberoi.
Rotoris is scheduled to launch commercially in January 2026 with five collections.
“India has long needed a serious contender in premium watchmaking. Rotoris isn’t just launching a brand, it’s challenging an industry that has gone unchanged for decades,” said Apoorv Sharma, co-founder, 100 Unicorns.
