Tyre waste management startup ReGrip has raised ₹20.25 crore in a funding deal on entrepreneurial television series Bharat Ke Super Founders, marking the largest cheque on the show this season.

The deal includes ₹15.25 crore in equity for a 13.2 per cent stake and ₹5 crore in debt. Investors in the round include Red Bricks Capital, Auxan and Upaya, along with several individual investors.

Individual investors who participated were Ankur Mittal, Dr A. Velumani, Nitish Mittersain and Aarti Gupta.

Founded in 2021 by Tushar Suhalka, ReGrip works in tyre waste collection, refurbishment, recycling and energy generation. The company converts end-of-life tyres into usable fuel and energy.

ReGrip currently operates across 40 cities and holds what it says is India’s largest licence to run a tyre-to-fuel waste-to-energy plant. The startup focuses on managing the lifecycle of discarded tyres while building a commercially viable recycling business.

The company reports 100 per cent year-on-year growth and says it reached profitability within three years.

Bharat Ke Super Founders, hosted by Suniel Shetty, positions itself as a platform offering structured equity and debt funding to startups solving real-world problems.
