
The Mahratta Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Agriculture (MCCIA) will host the seventh Pune International Business Summit (PIBS) 2026 on February 9–10, 2026, in Pune. The summit aims to foster international business connections and unlock sector-wise growth opportunities by bringing together participants from over 32 countries, featuring 60+ international delegates and 50+ speakers. PIBS 2026 will focus on key growth sectors including Defence, Automotive, Global Capability Centres (GCCs), Artificial Intelligence (AI), Agriculture, and Food Processing. Sessions are designed to highlight emerging trends, encourage cross-border collaboration, and identify investment and partnership opportunities within these industries.Senior officials expected to attend include Rajneesh, Development Commissioner (MSME), and P Velrasu, Chief Executive Officer, Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC). Their presence signifies the summit’s alignment with national and state-level industrial and MSME growth agendas.
A significant feature of PIBS 2026 will be a reverse buyer–seller meet, organized under the Raising and Accelerating MSME Performance Scheme (RAMP). This initiative is funded by the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises.
The buyer–seller meet will involve over 25 international buyers from 10 countries. It will facilitate structured business-to-business meetings with MSME exporters from Maharashtra.
The objectives of this buyer–seller initiative are to provide direct access to global buyers for MSMEs, support export order generation, and foster long-term international partnerships. It also aims to enhance the export competitiveness of Maharashtra-based MSMEs.
PIBS 2026 aims to establish Pune as a global business convergence hub. This will strengthen India’s export ecosystem and integrate MSMEs into global value chains. The summit is expected to catalyze international trade, investment, and collaboration for Indian enterprises, particularly MSMEs looking to expand globally.>
