Noida school evacuated after bomb threat, Ahmedabad also receive similar alerts

NOIDA/AHMEDABAD: Shiv Nadar School in Noida was evacuated and closed on Friday after it received a bomb threat via email, triggering a major security alert just three days ahead of the Republic Day. As a precaution, the school administration immediately suspended classes and cleared the campus to allow police and bomb disposal squads to conduct a thorough search.Police teams and sniffer dogs were deployed at the school premises, while bomb disposal units carried out intensive checks. No explosive material has been found so far, officials said.Around the same time, several schools in western Ahmedabad also received similar bomb threat emails, prompting heightened security measures across the city. Parents have been advised to remain calm and await official updates, while investigators are working to trace the origin of the threat emails.
