Modulus Housing has raised ₹70 crore in a Series A round led by Kalaari Capital, Hero and Samarthya, with participation from SVAS, Sigma, Zetwerk founder Srinath Ramakkrushnan, Sanjiv Rangrass and others.

The fresh funding will be used for market expansion within India and in selected international markets, R&D efforts, scaling its partner-factory ecosystem, and strengthening its lightweight green-concrete technology.

“The conviction shown by our investors further strengthens our belief that this sector is at the cusp of transformation. And the most rewarding feedback we receive is simple: that our R&D and technology are solving real-world problems and improving time, cost and quality simultaneously,” said Shreeram Ravichandran, Co-founder & CEO, Modulus Housing.

Founded in 2018 at IIT Madras by Shreeram Ravichandran and P Gobinath, Modulus Housing provides factory-made low-rise infrastructure through a cloud-manufacturing model using a network of partner factories.

“Modulus is solving a key problem in the infrastructure sector — where demand is decentralized, recurring, and urgent while unmet in quality expectations. Their factory-first approach brings scalability and predictability to one of the most fragmented industries,” added Sampath P, Partner at Kalaari Capital.
