Ankit KediaMisochain Technologies on Tuesday said it has raised ₹18 crore in a seed funding round led by Capital-A. The Bengaluru-based company develops flight-critical aircraft components for defence and global aviation platforms.
The funding will be used to set up a manufacturing facility, advance product certification programmes and expand engineering, testing and maintenance, repair and overhaul capabilities for UAV manufacturers and aerospace customers.
“India has built strong aircraft and defence platforms, yet many flight-critical subsystems still depend on overseas suppliers. This investment allows us to advance certification timelines, expand engineering depth, and move closer to serial deployment across defence and aviation platforms,” said Rama Kandula, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Misochain Technologies.
The investment comes as aerospace sourcing from India increases, driven by defence indigenisation efforts and growth in unmanned aerial vehicle programmes.
The company focuses on aircraft components that are largely imported into India. The company is working on the domestic development of air data probes, a segment subject to certification requirements and long supplier tenures.
