Databricks raises over $4 bn to expand AI offerings
Data and AI firm Databricks has announced a Series L funding round of more than $4 billion, valuing the company at $134 billion. The latest round was led by Insight Partners, Fidelity Management & Research Company, and J.P. Morgan Asset Management. “With this investment, we’re deepening our commitment to help every organization innovate with AI on their own data,” said Ali Ghodsi, co-founder and CEO of Databricks.

Ranveer Singh-owned D2C brand SuperYou has raised ₹63 crore in a funding round backed by existing investors Rainmatter by Zerodha and Gruhas Collective Consumer Fund, along with new investor V3 Ventures.

Aurassure raises ₹25 cr led by Rainmatter, Unicorn India Ventures
Climate tech startup Aurassure has raised ₹25 crore in a pre-Series A round led by Rainmatter by Zerodha and Unicorn India Ventures. The round also saw participation from Maithan Alloys Limited.
Founded in 2022 by Akanksha Priyadarshini, the company has built a climate intelligence platform that uses environmental signals to provide early warnings, risk indices, and operational insights to governments and enterprises.

Rotoris raises $3mn seed funding from Zerodha’s Nikhil Kamath,Venture Catalysts
Analog watch company Rotoris has raised $3 million in a seed funding round with participation from Nikhil Kamath, Vivek Anand Oberoi, Venture Catalysts, 100 Unicorns and Tanmay Bhat, among others. Other participants in the round include Varun Alagh of Mamaearth, Gaurav Khatri of Noise, Akash Gupta of Zypp and Arjun Vaidya. Founded by Aakash Anand, founder of Bella Vita Organic, along with Prerna Gupta, the startup aims to build a watch brand with a focus on in-house engineering, manufacturing and global distribution.

Swizzle raises ₹2 crore seed funding on Ideabaaz
Clean-label beverage startup Swizzle has raised ₹2 crore in a seed funding round that was finalised on the entrepreneurship television show Ideabaaz. The round was led by angel investors Sooraj Singh, founder and CEO of Unibots, and Shaili Chopra, founder of SheThePeople and Gytree.
The company plans to use the capital to expand its presence across retail, hospitality (HoReCa), vending machines and quick-commerce platforms.
