Founded in 2023 by Siddhant Bhargava, Shalmali Kadu, and Mitansh Khurana.DUSQ, a sleep science and recovery startup, has raised ₹24 crore in a seed funding round led by Fireside Ventures. The round also saw participation from Antler India, Climber Capital, Startup Sherpas, Vaishav Investments, Avnish Anand (Founder, CaratLane), and Shivam Puri (CEO, Cipla Health).
The capital will be used to scale its sleep regulation platform, expand its neuroscience and hardware teams, strengthen its in-house sleep laboratory, and enter international markets.
“We believe the next frontier of health-tech is not more data—it’s restored biological function. We’re not building another tracker; we’re building infrastructure for human recovery. This funding allows us to take an India-built deep-science product into global markets with confidence,” said Dr. Siddhant Bhargava, co-founder of DUSQ.
DUSQ is positioning itself differently in a sleep-tech market largely dominated by wearables that generate sleep scores and analytics dashboards.
The firm was formerly known as InnerGize, a stress-focused wearable brand that gained national attention through Shark Tank India. Instead of aggressively scaling, the company paused commercial expansion to focus on research and product redesign, eventually rebranding as DUSQ.
“Sleep is emerging as one of the most important health frontiers globally. What stood out for us about DUSQ was the team’s willingness to rethink the problem and build with genuine scientific depth and clear differentiation from day one. With a launch-ready product and strong IP foundation, we believe it can define the global sleep solutions category,” added Ankur Khaitan, Principal at Fireside Ventures.
Over two years, the team claims to have analysed over 50 million physiological data points to develop a regulation model connecting autonomic signaling and neural downshifting to fragmented recovery.
Founded in 2023 by Dr. Siddhant Bhargava, Shalmali Kadu, and Mitansh Khurana, DUSQ focuses on combining neuroscience and hardware design to build a regulation-led sleep platform.
