Founded in 2025 by Pratik Sharda and Yashwant Dagar, CraftifAI is building an agentic AI platform designed to automate embedded software development for edge, IoT and AI-powered devices. CraftifAI has raised $3 million in a seed funding round led by Ankur Capital, with participation from IvyCap Ventures, Capital-A, Antler and other investors.
The fresh capital will be used to scale the company’s engineering and go-to-market teams as it expands into global embedded, edge and IoT markets.
Founded in 2025 by Pratik Sharda and Yashwant Dagar, CraftifAI is building an agentic AI platform designed to automate embedded software development for edge, IoT and AI-powered devices.
The platform enables automated, hardware-optimised code generation and AI and ML deployment, aiming to significantly reduce development time and cost.
“The embedded software industry has struggled with the same inefficiencies for decades- manual driver development, hardware vendor lock-in, and lengthy development cycles,” said Sharda. “With CraftifAI Orbit, we’re bringing the same AI-powered productivity revolution that developers love in tools like Cursor to the embedded systems world.”
CraftifAI already has pilot engagements with several Indian OEMs across robotics, drones, IoT and AI camera segments, as well as a publicly listed semiconductor company in the US.
“The embedded software market is experiencing a fundamental transformation. Smart devices of all types are becoming both more common and more complex. We are investing in CraftifAI because we believe this sector is at a critical inflection point,” said Shiva Shanker, partner at Ankur Capital.
