Founded in 2024 by Karan Jain, Carrum is focused on operating a low-emission mobility fleet and already operates with Uber in 5 cities.Carrum, a B2B mobility solutions company, has raised a Series A round of funding from Uber, the company said on Tuesday.
The total funds raised remain undisclosed.
CarDekho Group-backed Carrum plans to use this funding to expand its fleet, and scale business operations.
Founded in 2024 by Karan Jain, Carrum is focused on operating a low-emission mobility fleet and already operates with Uber in 5 cities, namely, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Pune and New Delhi. As part of this partnership, the company will expand presence to all major urban centres.
“This investment marks an important milestone in our journey, as we expand the horizon of our partnership with Uber. Our shared commitment to technology-led mobility and customer-first solutions makes this partnership especially meaningful,” said Karan Jain, founder and CEO, Carrum.
Carrum currently operates a fleet of over 3,000 vehicles and claims to have an annual revenue run rate of ₹300 crore.
