Atypical Advantage, a livelihood platform focused on persons with disabilities, has raised ₹2.63 crore in its first institutional funding round led by Next Bharat Ventures, an impact fund backed by Suzuki Motor Corporation.

The equity infusion forms part of the company’s pre-Series A round.

Founded with a mission to improve economic inclusion for persons with disabilities, Atypical Advantage uses a mix of technology, partnerships and community-led programmes to create sustainable income opportunities.

The platform currently works with thousands of individuals with disabilities and collaborates with hundreds of corporate partners to drive inclusive hiring and accessible education.

The fresh capital will be deployed to strengthen the company’s technology and accessibility stack, expand its education and employment verticals, build core teams and deepen ecosystem programmes that connect persons with disabilities to dignified work, mentorship and corporate opportunities.
