Arrowhead currently operates across India and Southeast Asia, serving over 50 customers including the likes of Aditya Birla Capital, Paytm, and InsuranceDekho.Arrowhead has raised $3 million in a seed funding round led by Stellaris Venture Partners, the voice AI startup said on Wednesday.
The funds will be used to strengthen AI models, expand technology and GTM teams, and drive higher conversion outcomes for customers.
Founded by Devyani Gupta and Vengadanathan Srinivasan, Arrowhead enables banks, non-banking financial companies (NBFCs) and fintechs in India and globally, to replicate sales agent behaviour at scale through AI voice agents.
“Indian enterprises have long relied on large human sales teams because labour was considered inexpensive, but this has led to significant inefficiencies, from training and attrition to mis-selling and inconsistent outcomes,” said co-founder Gupta in a statement.
Gupta added that these agents can handle long, complex sales calls seamlessly and that financial institutions are now moving from pilots to full-scale adoption.

“Voice AI for the financial sector in India alone represents a $3 billion market, with less than $50 million penetrated so far, highlighting how early we still are in this transition. What’s particularly striking is the speed at which banks and financial institutions are now adopting voice AI, driven by top-down, organisation-wide AI mandates,” said Vardhan Dharnidharka, principal at Stellaris Venture Partners.
In what is a strong show of early promise, Paytm has achieved up to 45 per cent higher conversion rates due to Arrowhead’s solutions.
“Arrowhead completely surpassed anything we could have expected. They were the only voice AI company I fully trusted to execute my vision.” said Shrey Agarwal, vice president at Paytm.
Over the next 12-18 months, the company said it plans to develop emotion-aware voice agents and expand into a unified omnichannel customer interaction platform across chat, calls, and messaging.
The round also saw participation from angel investors such as Kunal Shah, Madhusudanan R, Keyur Rajiv Kashikar, Pramod Mohandas, and Shadab Shamim.
