US President Donald Trump went into graphic detail about Republican Senator Jon Husted’s physique during a campaign rally in Greenville, North Carolina, continuing his unusual praise of the Ohio senator’s muscular build.“I’m studying his body. I’ve never studied the body of a man before. It’s not my thing. Nothing wrong with it, of course. But it’s never been my thing,” Trump told the audience.He then described Husted’s physique, saying, “But I looked at his a**. I said, ‘His a**, s***, it’s like a pile of muscle.’ Then I looked at his legs and I said, ‘Man, his feet are big.'”Trump also described Husted as being built like “a piece of steel” and called him “a monster”.The remarks came as Trump campaigned for Republican Senate candidate Michael Whatley in North Carolina on Tuesday.Despite campaigning for a candidate in another state, Trump returned to talking about Husted, whom he had similarly praised at a rally in Youngstown, Ohio, last week.Husted, who became a US senator in January 2025 after a special election to replace JD Vance, previously served as Ohio’s lieutenant governor from 2019 to 2025. He is facing Democratic challenger Sherrod Brown in the November midterm elections.Trump has been campaigning across Republican-leaning states, urging voters to support candidates he has endorsed ahead of the midterm polls.
