ZeroMobIt has raised ₹1.5 crore in a pre-seed funding round backed by angel investors including Sandeep Varaganti and Dr. Ashok Agrawal.

The company said the fresh capital will be used to accelerate technology development, expand operations and strengthen its infrastructure roadmap.

Founded in 2024, ZeroMobIt is building a fixed-schedule mobility platform designed around predictable, recurring student demand, with a long-term vision of evolving into a broader passenger-agnostic mobility layer.

“Student mobility has remained structurally unchanged for decades. We are building an AI-native, compliance-first infrastructure layer that aligns safety, scalability, and ecosystem trust. This funding allows us to accelerate toward building infrastructure that cities and institutions can rely on,” said co-founder and CEO Vijay Ganagam.

It is targeting campus partnerships, fleet expansion and compliance infrastructure across Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam, Chennai and Mumbai.

ZeroMobIt has so far partnered with more than 15 institutions and completed about 3.4 lakh student trips across 147 pincodes in Hyderabad. The company currently operates a fleet network of over 3,000 vehicles.

The company said it will also expand hiring across engineering, operations and growth teams to support scale.
