Healthcare startup Preventify has raised ₹2 crore in a pre-seed funding round led by PedalStart, with participation from angel investors including Viren Shetty, Jatin Kakrani, and the founders of Supertails and Agrizy.

The funding will be used to build the startup’s first cluster of 10 clinics, expand its chronic and lifestyle disease management programmes, and strengthen its technology, diagnostics, and pharmacy integration.

Founded by Nirmal NR and Dr. Rakesh KR, Preventify is building a healthcare platform focused on delivering affordable, standardised, and evidence-based preventive and chronic care in tier-II and tier-III cities.

The Kerala-based startup currently operates three clinics and has served over 40,000 patients.

“Patients often have access to doctors, labs, and pharmacies, but the care journey remains fragmented and episodic. Our focus is on building standardised, protocol-driven, and affordable care models that manage patients over time, especially for chronic conditions,” said co-founder Nirmal NR.

Over the next 12 to 18 months, Preventify plans to expand across Kerala, invest in clinicians, nurses, care coordinators, and central medical teams, and strengthen its protocol-driven care pathways. The company also plans to develop subscription-based outcome tracking systems and integrated diagnostics and pharmacy workflows to ensure consistent care quality across locations.

“The team has demonstrated strong execution discipline, early clinical traction, and a clear understanding of responsible healthcare scaling. Their cluster-based approach and focus on long-term patient outcomes align with how we believe sustainable healthcare businesses should be built, and we’re excited to support them as they scale,” said Manas Pal and Aditya Darolia, co-founders of PedalStart.
