Spacetech startup Cosmoserve Space has secured ₹5.5 crore in funding from Bharat Ke Super Founders, valuing the company at ₹225 crore. Founded by former Indian Space Research Organisation scientist Chiranjeevi Phanindra, Cosmoserve Space is developing proprietary autonomous spacecraft systems, including its Reviver and Mothercraft platforms. These systems are designed to identify, capture, and safely de-orbit non-operational satellites and high-risk orbital debris.
The startup is also working on robotic arms, optical navigation systems, and refuelling support devices for in-orbit servicing and satellite life-cycle management.
Dr A. Velumani led the round with a ₹5 crore commitment for a 2.22 percent stake, subject to a proposed follow-on raise of ₹45 crore.
Additional participation came from Shivam M and Srini S, who invested ₹25 lakh each for 0.11 percent equity apiece.
The startup currently operates with a 15-member team of engineers, designers, and scientists and remains in the product development phase, with commercial deployment targeted for 2028.
The series, which is hosted by Suneil Shetty, features seasoned names from the startup sector, including Nitish Mittersain, Aarti Gupta, Shanti Mohan, Aditya Singh and Ankur Mittal.
