GreenTech, a wind turbine operations firm, secured ₹30 crore from Transition VC. GreenTech, a wind turbine asset operations and maintenance company has raised ₹30 crore in a round led entirely by Transition VC. It plans to deploy the funds to expand its operations to the global market and upgrade its predictive analytics platforms.
GreenTech manages multi brand wind assets and has presence in India, Vietnam and Sri Lanka, and plans to venture into other markets in South East Asia and Middle East and North Africa regions. Founded in 2018, Coimbatore-based GreenTech is an independent service provider, which manages the performance and lifecycle of wind turbines.
Daniel Raj, founder of GreenTech said, “As the renewable energy sector continues to expand, we are further strengthening our capabilities and broadening our operational footprint to support the clean energy transition.”
“In India, over 30 GW of assets will be free from OEM warranties by 2030, accelerating demand for independent O&M built on performance rather than legacy contracts. This unmet need is GreenTech’s opportunity to become the industry leader,” said Raiyaan Shingati, co-founder and managing partner at Transition VC.
