Founded in 2022 by Akanksha Priyadarshini, the company has built a climate intelligence platform that uses environmental signals to provide early warnings, risk indices, and operational insights to governments and enterprises.
“Enterprises today need climate intelligence that is immediate, accurate, and hyperlocal. Aurassure brings that capability to the ground by helping organisations reduce risk, protect people, and operate with confidence in an increasingly unpredictable climate. What was earlier a ‘nice to have’ has now become an absolute necessity. This fundraise enables us to accelerate that mission across the Global South,” said co-founder and CEO Priyadarshini.
Aurassure’s expansion plans include scaling city-level deployments, along with product development to enhance its AI-driven predictive models and develop next-generation climate sensing systems.
“The effects of climate change are a cause for concern not only in India but across the globe. India has been an active and influential player in the climate change ecosystem from the beginning, and the government is increasingly prioritising efforts to address climate change. Aurassure has tapped the market at the right time; with its satellite-integrated data fusion and proprietary AI-physics models, the company delivers high-resolution air quality data,” said Bhaskar Majumdar, managing partner at Unicorn India Ventures.
In the last 12 months, Aurassure said it has scaled operations across over 200 cities in India and more than 100 cities in Brazil. The company also said revenue has grown 150 per cent annually since its last fundraise two years ago.
