‘Thalapathy’ Vijay attended a Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) rally in Madurai on Thursday, and, as has become the norm, thousands of followers of his newly formed political party gathered to catch a glimpse of their leader. Vijay and his party leadership have been travelling across Tamil Nadu, holding public meetings to share their plans for the party and the state, setting the stage for the upcoming elections. Politics aside, the images and videos from the rally, overflowing with enthusiastic crowds, look straight out of a Vijay movie.

Vijay was caught off guard by the overwhelming crowd at the rally and was seen tearing up in several videos shared by fans on social media. The moment became even more special with the presence of his parents, SA Chandrasekhar and Shoba, who appeared to be cherishing the immense love their son received from the massive gathering. However, there were occasional disruptions as excited fans broke through security in an attempt to get closer to Vijay.

The emotional weight and catharsis of the moment were evident as Vijay greeted his fans with teary eyes. Amid the overwhelming fanfare, he also took a moment to hug his parents and soak in the excitement that surrounded them.

On the film front, Vijay will next be seen playing a cop in H. Vinoth’s crime thriller Jana Nayakan, which has been announced as his final feature film before he transitions to full-time politics. The actor will star opposite Pooja Hegde in this festive release, which also features Bobby Deol and Mamitha Baiju in pivotal roles. The film is scheduled to hit theatres on January 9 next year.
