Parasakthi Movie Release Date: With Sankranti just around the corner, several major films are lining up for a grand festive release. Among the most anticipated titles is Parasakthi, starring Sivakarthikeyan in the lead role. The film is directed by National Award-winning filmmaker Sudha Kongara and features Sreeleela as the female lead.

Parasakthi is scheduled to release worldwide on January 10. Initially, the film was expected to clash at the box office with ‘Thalapathy’ Vijay’s Jana Nayagan. However, due to delays in Jana Nayagan receiving clearance from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC), Parasakthi now enjoys a relatively clear theatrical window, significantly improving its box-office prospects.

The trailer of Parasakthi showcases Sivakarthikeyan in a powerful and politically charged avatar, backed by Sudha Kongara’s signature emotionally driven storytelling. Ticket Prices and Advance Booking

As of now, tickets for Parasakthi are not yet available on BookMyShow or other online ticketing platforms. The delay in advance bookings is reportedly due to pending certification issues with the CBFC.

According to NDTV, the censor board has suggested 23 cuts and modifications to the film. The makers are expected to receive the final certificate today, following which advance bookings should open shortly across major cinema chains. Once bookings go live, ticket prices are expected to fall within the standard festive pricing range.

Parasakthi Box Office Collection Prediction

Earlier, when Jana Nayagan was slated for a January 9 release, trade analysts predicted that Parasakthi might struggle to realise its full box-office potential due to the high-profile clash. Despite that, the film was still expected to open in double digits at the domestic box office and possibly record Sivakarthikeyan’s second-biggest opening.

With the Vijay starrer likely pushed to a later date, Parasakthi now stands in a stronger position to capitalise on the Sankranti/Pongal holiday period. Positive word-of-mouth and Sudha Kongara’s proven track record could further boost the film’s performance in the crucial opening weekend.
