Nitro Commerce, an AI-powered growth platform for D2C brands, has raised $5 million in a Series A funding round led by Cornerstone Ventures.

The round also saw participation from India Accelerator and Finvolve, Equentis Wealth Advisory Services, Grand Anicut Angel Fund, Razorpay Ventures, Rukum Sitara Fund, and Ankurit Capital.

The newly raised capital will be used to boost platform-led growth, expand hiring across key functions, further build AI and agentic capabilities, and scale international operations.

Founded by Umair Mohammad, Shamail Tayyab and Pratik Anand, NitroCommerce operates across the full growth funnel, from converting anonymous visitors into identifiable customers, to stitching user journeys across platforms, activating ad inventory beyond traditional ecosystems, and driving sales conversions with AI agents.

“We’ve always believed that DNA matters. Growth has been at the core of everything we’ve built since day one. This round helps us accelerate toward our next milestone,” said Umair Mohammed, founder and CEO, Nitro Commerce.

The startup counts the likes of Rare Rabbit, Kapiva, Blue Tokai and Neeman’s among its customers and said it achieved an annual revenue run rate of $5 million in just 12 months.

“We’re excited to continue backing one of the standout winners in our portfolio with our follow-on investment in Nitro. We’re particularly impressed by Nitro’s modular approach, which allows D2C brands to activate across commerce platforms, while delivering unified, cross-channel analytics to meaningfully accelerate growth,” said Nanika Kakkar, partner CornerStone Ventures.
