The third single from Dhanush starrer Idli Kadai came out recently. The lyrical video titled ‘Yen Paatan Saami Varum’, composed by G V Prakash Kumar, has vocals rendered by Anthony Dasan. There is a melancholy feel to this track, which is about hope. The lyrical video features Dhanush, Rajkiran, and the young actor playing Dhanush’s childhood portions in the film. G V Prakash Kumar had expressed his desire to break free of the ‘trend-based’ song culture in Tamil cinema, and all three songs released from the movie feel like a welcome change to rooted, rural songs based on the cultural specificity of the milieu in which the story of Idli Kadai takes place.
