Bigg Boss Tamil Season 9 Winner LIVE Updates: Vijay Sethupathi to announce grand champion in a few hours

The show kicked off on October 5 last year, with 24 contestants entering the house. However, only four of them have made it to the finale of the show. The finalists are Divya Ganesh, Sabarinathan, Aurora Sinclair, and Vikkals Vikram.

A few hours before the grand finale of Bigg Boss Tamil Season 9, SCREEN conducted a poll on X to gauge who viewers believed would win the show. The results revealed Divya as the clear frontrunner with 58% of the votes, followed by Sabarinathan at 19%, Aurora at 14%, and Vikram at the bottom with 8%. For the unversed, Divya was a wildcard contestant who entered the house only on day 28.

Tamil star Vijay Sethupathi returned as the host of the ninth instalment. He served as the host of the reality show in the last season as well. Prior to him, Tamil actor and filmmaker Kamal Haasan hosted the show for seven seasons since 2017. Haasan announced his exit in 2024, citing scheduling clashes as the primary reason.
