The companies said the partnership is aimed at enabling creators, students, marketers and small businesses to produce professional-quality social content, marketing material and videos more easily, as demand for digital content and online branding continues to grow in India.Bharti Airtel said it will provide its 360 million customers in India with free access to Adobe Express Premium for one year.
The offer, which Airtel calls a global first for a telecom provider, makes Adobe’s design and content creation app available at no cost to mobile, Wi-Fi and DTH subscribers. The subscription, typically priced at around ₹4,000 per year, can be accessed through the Airtel Thanks App without a credit card requirement.
Adobe Express Premium includes thousands of templates, premium fonts and Adobe Stock assets, along with AI-powered tools such as background removal, image generation and one-tap video editing.
“This partnership is about more than technology. It is about empowering millions of Indians with cutting-edge AI tools to create and innovate,” said Siddharth Sharma, CEO – Connected Homes and Director – Marketing at Bharti Airtel.
In July last year, Airtel and Perplexity AI announced a partnership granting the telecom’s users a complimentary 12-month subscription to Perplexity Pro, a premium AI search service valued at around ₹17,000 per annum.
This was followed by Google announcing free access to its AI service Gemini for all Reliance Jio users, deepening its partnership with the Mukesh Ambani-led firm, and OpenAI making its premium ChatGPT tier, ChatGPT Go, free for a year for Indian consumers.
