Retail online bond portfolio platform Wint Wealth has raised ₹250 crore in a Series B funding round led by Vertex Ventures Southeast Asia & India.

Existing backers 3one4 Capital, 8 Roads Ventures, Arkham Ventures and Zerodha’s Rainmatter also participated in the round.

The fresh capital will be used to expand its corporate bond offerings, strengthen investor education initiatives and scale its technology and operations.

Part of the investment will also be allocated towards capitalising its non-banking financial company (NBFC) arm, which currently manages assets under management of about ₹200 crore.

“For decades, fixed income has been at the heart of Indian investing, and corporate bonds are positioned to become the dominant asset class for retail investors. This funding round gives us the resources to scale and accelerate this vision, bringing bonds to the heart of every retail portfolio,” said Ajinkya Kulkarni, Co-founder & CEO, Wint Wealth.

The Bengaluru-based startup operates as a SEBI-regulated online bond portfolio platform and focuses on assisting retail investors to access fixed-income products that have traditionally been dominated by institutional participation.

Piyush Kharbanda, General Partner, Vertex Ventures SEA and India, added, “Wint Wealth has built a strong and trusted platform at the intersection of regulatory discipline, investor education, and technology-led scale. We are excited to partner with the team as they work towards making corporate bonds a mainstream asset class for retail investors in India.”

The firm claims to have facilitated over ₹8,000 crore in investments and serves more than 300,000 retail investors on its platform.

Founded to widen access to fixed-income investing, Wint Wealth also has plans to deepen its presence across India as retail interest in alternative investment products continues to grow.
